REDARC is pleased to announce the launch of its new website, exclusive for customers based in the United States, Canada and Mexico. The launch of this website comes after REDARC’s plans to expand operations world-wide, with the North American market to be a significant opportunity to reach a wider customer base.
After months of development, the new website has been customised to provide North American customers a faster shopping experience, easier navigation to product related questions and exclusive content. Using a sophisticated e-commerce platform, the website will allow customers to easily navigate, compare and purchase products.
Export Manager Craig Herriot said that the main driver for developing a North American website is to help consumers based in the region relate product to purpose and application. Part of this is creating a ‘US-centric’ feel with local imagery, terminology and content.
“Over the coming months we will be adding exclusive content on our media section, so customers can see how our products are used in their own environment.
“We want to be able to effectively engage with our customers in their region, the development of this website and how we have tailored information will set us up for success to achieve that”, he stated.
The North American trailer and recreational vehicle market are one of the biggest and most advanced markets in the world. The new site is designed to provide the ability to set-up trade accounts for these customers.
“The majority of visitors are customers who buy our products online but we also have a handful of trade accounts, and have therefore set-up the website as a direct sales channel for these businesses.
“We’re excited to strengthen our position and involvement in the North American trailer and RV market. There is tremendous potential for trailer manufacturers and dealers to add value and use our products to the benefit of themselves and their customers”, Craig said.
One of the biggest challenges is the education required behind some of REDARC’s products, where some customers may be trekking unfamiliar territory with new concepts and technology. The new website is designed to allow customers to quickly find information on any product in the resource section which is divided into three sections; FAQ’s, wiring guides and dual battery charger calculator.
Visitors to the homepage will be able to access the dual battery charger calculator from one click to find the best dual battery charger for their needs. Diagnostic tools will also be added to aid in technical support in time to further enhance their customer care experience.
The media section, divided into news, blog, and video is tailored to provide information on its product range, and customers will see a constant stream of new and exclusive content. Registered users of the REDARC website will still be able to access the site, using the same login credentials as before.
REDARC has over 35 years’ experience in the research, design, development and manufacture of a range of electronic voltage converters and associated products, inverters, power supplies, battery chargers, brake controllers and trailer braking products.
