REDARC is delighted to be once again partnering with Expedition Overland, ‘XO’, for a new web series called ‘Overlander’, which premiered in April.
The premise of this 15-part series, showcases all things Overlanding and the mindset needed for remote-based travel. Three episodes have been released and set the scene for this US Focused adventure.
Expedition Overland has enjoyed success over the years, rising to the top as one of the most trusted sources on their YouTube Channel, which now boasts over 152,000 highly engaged subscribers that tune in to see head of the pack Clay and his team cover some of America’s treacherous and desolate destinations.
“Expedition Overland prides itself in being able to provide the best in class products within our series and vehicle platforms. We’ve been able to achieve many things with Expedition Overland, and we wanted to create a series about sharing our experiences and mistakes with like-minded people”, said Clay.
“Overlander is a new kind of series, dedicated to educating and inspiring people to get going in the lifestyle of overlanding.”
Export Manager Craig Herriot stated that REDARC is really excited to be teaming up with the crew at Expedition Overland.
“The exposure the brand has received working with them is pleasing to see and their philosophy on overlanding aligns well with our goals for North America,” he stated.
REDARC is an Australian company that has been around for almost 40 years. They are a world-class, advanced electronics manufacturer providing high quality overlanding electrical accessories designed, developed, engineered and tested in the toughest conditions.
The award-winning Tow-Pro Elite Electric Brake Controller puts two types of braking at the user’s fingertips, Proportional and User controlled modes. These two modes can be interchanged to suit the driving and terrain conditions, or user preference. It’s so compact, Clay and his team will be able to mount the control knob conveniently on the dash and hide the main until where the driver’s knees can’t knock it accidentally.
Another award-winning product is the high-powered DC-DC and solar battery chargers, available in 25 and 40 amp models for topping up a secondary battery. It’ll ensure the ‘XO’ team will have the battery power required to use 12-volt equipment when travelling and also allows them to be totally independent for remote touring.
“REDARC has a tremendous reputation within the industry and we are proud to run REDARC’s incredible solutions for power management and towing on our rigs. Their features are advanced and the opportunities endless; that’s a powerful combination”, said Clay.
In addition, REDARC and Expedition Overland will be at this weekend’s Overland Expo – West at Ft. Tuthill Country Park, Flagstaff, Arizona, USA May 18 – May 20. It brings together the world’s leading experts on camping and vehicle and motorcycle equipment in one place.
